Seafarers up and down the East Coast of North America have always worked hard and risked their lives to make a living.  Gordon Stevens was a Rum Runner from Cape Breton in the 1920’s and his wife used some of his illicit cargo to make delicious golden cake baked with rich, sweet rum.  One day, not so long ago, we stumbled across the recipe for this delicious concoction and now its available to you without the risk of incarceration.  Packaged in our decorative tins, our cakes are the perfect gift for holidays or special events.  Corporate Customer?  We will gladly produce a custom tin for your company – call or email orders@rumrunners.ca to receive more information.
